I don't know which was better: the smoothness of the process/interface, or the quality and diversity of the submissions. 99designs is a great community! We felt we had a slow start, but we upped our Shout Out, and 99designs extended our contest by a few days. In the end, we had a nice 4-way 'race' of 4 good candidate designs. The polling system worked nicely - having this process be an inclusive one helped motivate our Board and gave us something fun to Blog and Tweet about.
