Other notes
The website is currently in development, with a placeholder for the logo ("Jackal Insurance"), so this is the space we need to use as a guideline. But you can also see how the colors are being used to help you figure out how to use them in the logo.

---------------------------------------------------------------
Text
- Font: Use Lato or another san serif that works with Lato, as this is the font that is used throughout the website
- Casing: Uppercase, lowercase, title case
- The name, "Drive Squad," can be experimented with in different ways (ex. Drive Squad, DRIVE SQUAD, drive squad, DRIVESQUAD, etc.)
Icon
- Something that ties into automotive insurance and the name, Drive Squad
- Illustration examples that we like can be seen here:
-- https://www.lemonade.com/ - I really like the illustration style used on here - it makes the idea of automotive insurance seem less scary and more approachable. Obviously, I do not want anything exactly like the illustrations used here, what we create should be our own style, but I wanted to share this for inspiration.
-- https://vectormine.com/item/electri…e-concept/ (this artist has additional illustrations, as well) - I like the way the fill colors overlap/offset the line work.
-- http://ds-staging-1.us-east-1.elast…w_it_works or DriveSquad_FAQ.png
-- DriveSquad_Coverage_DescPage.png
-- insurance8-86671292.png - I like how part of the icon is encompassed in a solid shape (square, rectangle, circle...)
- For the icon, please keep in mind that we would need to use all or part of it for the favicon, as well
- Make sure that the logo/icon will work at varying sizes (business card to billboard), and still be legible
- NOTE: The above are just ideas and if you have something else that might work better, let's try it! We are open to your creativity! Overall, we are looking for something that is modern and fun, which will make insurance more approachable.

Final files
If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
