Business & Consulting
We are a small but growing specialized innovation consulting company. We work with researchers from academia, research departments at international companies up to entrepreneurs with their start-ups as well as management. We have three products: (1) strategic innovation management that targets executives and board members (2) innovation mentoring that provides hands-on support for innovation projects (3) Innodata – a new platform that leverages open databases and machine learning to identify key trends in the innovation landscape. Our website is not meant to acquire new customers as most business in this field is based on trust and experience. Nevertheless, the website has a key role to play: it should portray (1) what we do and our products (2) our team (3) our core values and principles. As we operate in “people’s business” portraying us (and hence our team) as a trustworthy partner is of key importance.
Trust and experience is of central importance to our business. Our products are only effective because we are effective as a team. The design should be clean and not overloaded, however, does not mean we want a minimalist website. The website should be a good trade off – see example sites provided below. The color scheme can be chosen freely. Please reach out to us if you have any questions – we appreciate any interaction!
1. Static Pages the following are ideas – feel free to adapt them and build upon them. Please reach out to us if you have any questions. Our Email is email@example.com 1.a) Homepage / Index Feel free to contact us if you have some creative ideas → we would love to hear them. • Post selection e.g. our most recent posts. (most posts don't have images) • overview of products • our team • our working principles (see at the end what our working principles are) • our network (clients with success stories) and partners The (Newsletter / Updates from Us / Success Stories / Events) selection should be displayed prominently. Not a "sign up" button but a our latest posts section, where the most recent posts are displayed. 1.b) Products We have the following three products: • Innodata • Innovation mentoring • strategic Innovation consulting → the three products should use the same template (i.e. only one site design) (maybe we will change this in a few years as we grow). We would like that you create the mock-up for the “Innovation mentoring” The product site should contain the following: • maybe an infographic describing the product (you can use any placeholder graphic during the design) • explanation what the product is • explanation whom the product targets • our core values • testimonials / success stories of past clients • contact person of the company who can be contacted for the product (with image and email) • potential downloads 1.c) About us • our working principles • team (all employees / team) o we are actually quite happy to how it is done now at our website (www.innovista.ch), feel free to build upon this • contact details o address o email address o telephone number o small map (in production this will be a custom made illustration and not a Google embedded map) o Maybe one could add a (possibly drone) picture of our office to the site, it would probably look cool, but we aren’t sure if it will fit with the design. 2. Post-like types We will be implementing this with WordPress! There should be only one single page for post-like pages but it can be used for newsletters/ updates from us and events. On the main site (index) a selection of those should be displayed. When you click on one one should have a page that is suitable for the above use cases. They should have an option where we can include downloadable material at the end of the article (an example where the downloads section is well done is https://www.admin.ch/gov/en/start/documentation/media-releases.msg-id-82762.html) Furthermore we will also use this post type to write success stories, these are reports of companies that have successfully implemented our methods, they should not be displayed on the main page as ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Employees: • Photo • Name • Title • Email • LinkedIn (optional) • Website (optional) • Short description • Position What we would like is that every employee has the following attributes on the site. Also, every employee should be shown on the page, as they are our core value of the enterprise. You can choose if you add all of these attributes of a member to the homepage or if they appear only when one clicks on a member is up to you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Our core values / our working principles: (1) Upfront and honest communication. (2) We know our competencies as well as limits and know when to get additional experts on board. (3) Pragmatic problem solving attitude that gets work done. (4) Years of experience yet keeping up with the cutting edge of science allows us to find the best solutions. (5) Transparent billing and pro-bono support of charitable projects

Overloaded full width and full height images (i.e. oversized landing images)
