Actors Are Idiots

Our organization is an interactive media outlet that curates a list of statements, comments, and actions by celebrities regarding political or social topics. We give each celebrity a rating based on their behavior and discuss the issues they're covering in greater depth. We'll be rating each celebrity we cover on a 1 to 5 scale, likely giving them stars for their ranking (stars related to stardom and the Walk of Fame).

I would like to have a predominantly white background on the website with yellow and black accents, similar to that of the logo. I want a clean, modern look to the website. It should feel like an interactive, immersive media website.

We will have two main categories on our website, 'News' and 'Idiots'. One news section will consist of articles about current events. The Idiots section will be a list of actors with a rating (1 through 5 stars) based on our reader's opinions of them. We'll also feature an idiot of the day where we show a picture of an actor or person who said something stupid and briefly list why.

On the home page, we would like to feature a list of articles that we have published in order of recency, and one much larger headline that is the biggest story of the day. *Notice on Vox.com that there is one large centrally located article*

We would also like to feature our categories at the top of the page, 'News' and 'Idiots'.

We would like icons featuring our Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.

We would obviously like our logo to be incorporated on the homepage at the top.

We would like to feature a section for 'Idiot of the Day' somewhere on the right side on the homepage (size: small, within a couple hundred pixels in either direction) featuring an actors picture and a star rating with a quick, single sentence describing why they are the idiot of the day.

We will incorporate other elements down the road such as videos, a podcast, and special columns based on the news we cover so please feel free to be creative and show us ideas on what that may look like.

We'd prefer to stick to the yellow that is in our logo with a lot of white, light grays, dark grays, and black. Try to avoid other colors.

We really like the color scheme of Vox.com. Please match the yellow to the one we have in our logo but use a variety of grays in the rest of the page. I would almost prefer a dark gray (1C1C1C) for text instead of black.
