How WSI Doncaster started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Ethos is a social commerce platform that will engage with people with impairments and their carers to promote an aspirational lifestyle and sell the products and services for them to achieve their desired lifestyle. As well as providing reviews for products aimed at people with disabilities
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Community & Non-Profit
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
We have had the homepage designed already so we would need the new pages to be designed in the same style. I would like 4 more pages created in the same style, one for a list of products (ecommerce), one for a single product page, one for a list of reviews and a page for single reviews.
The original PSD sent by the other designer is quite large (and not in the correct dimensions unfortunately, the site will follow a 1140px grid) you can download it here: http://we.tl/KmZ4p32xdi
I'll attach the other page we have as well for an idea of what our client likes. Given that it is a website aimed at people with various disabilities/impairments, clarity and accessibility is important.
Products list page: A list of products available for purchase. It needs to include an image, title, short description, reviews (stars) etc. It would be good to have the first few products appear as featured products which are more prominent with a slightly different design to the rest of the products.
Individual product page: This will show a single product with image, description, reviews, add to cart etc.
Reviews list page: A list of product reviews (this is separate and different from the products available for purchase. It's more like an editorial review of products available) Think like a review for a smartphone
Individual review page: This will have the editorial with images etc and blockquotes to emphasise certain points
