Second Rotation Splash/Landing Page

We would like to test our landing pages to optimize conversion and drive more action on our site. Specifically, we are looking at our category pages, where people try to find their specific products to sell.

Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff)

At Second Rotation, we buy old electronics from consumers, and then refurbish and resell or recycle them. So we offer a quick and easy way for people to get cash for their old gadgets that are just collecting dust. Its extremely easy, they find their product, tell us the condition, and our calculator tells them how much we'll pay. They send the item to us, we pay for postage, and then we send them a check! We support these categories: Cell Phones, GPS Devices, Video Game Consoles, Apple Laptops, Digital Cameras, MP3 Players, Camcorders.

The current process flow is:

2) go to specific product page such as http://www.secondrotation.com/trade…-treo-650;

3) answer the questions, get a price value, and then go to this page: https://www.secondrotation.com/pack…ealsummary

4) fill out address and print shipping kit

A few comments:

-we want the product landing page to do a better job of encouraging action, to increase the number of people who end up printing a shipping label

-we want to see new and different concepts

-we think that we may need to add some copy about what the process entails, similar to the big green box on the homepage, but maybe not as large (http://www.secondrotation.com/)

-we are open to stripping down the page and making it very simple, but we also welcome designs that still include links to our other categories (but not as dominant as those links are now)

-we want to create an effective and simple interface/design/call-to-action possible to search/find a phone on this page

-we want to convey trust and credibility, which could be through design, or it could be through text (i.e. "we give you market value for your product, guaranteed")

-we want to emphasize how easy and fast the process is, and the fact that we are giving people real cash for their products

-we are open to reducing the number of images on the page, or even eliminating images

-the header and footer need to stay intact, but the search box and the videos in the header and footer can be moved elsewhere on the page
