My client is looking for a cool, crisp, professional design for their new website. They have a basic template design which can be seen at http://www.ice-blue.co.uk. They want to keep the website clear and easy to use with a real touch of quality/professionalism.
The home page is the one to concentrate on for the time being. It neeeds to have a cool/ice feel to it as it is at the moment. The present "ice cube" image is liked very much by my client and so if you have access to shutterstock.com then this would be advantageous, alternatively used other images of "ice". This page will contain bullet points on the right hand side but it is not known exactly how many yet so keep this in mind when designing as more might be required and added later.
All pages will require a footer as well with copyright/company information/address/contact information etc.
Other pages will basically be text but a calendar grid and a couple of tables will be needed within the "contractors login" section. A sample layout can be seen on the present site but this is only to give a very rough idea of what will be required. Further details will be given shortly but this section will require very little additional design work.
A contact page will also be required with a contact form.
No prize will be given for a logo but if you design a good one it will be looked upon favourably within the design and MAY also be purchased after the contest ends.
My client is looking to get the site up and running as soon as possible and so we reserve the right end the contest before the deadline if some provides a design with that WOW factor - so get your entries in quickly!
Keep the colour scheme blues and white but the layout/design does not have to be exactly how it is now. Please feel free to submit your own ideas.
