What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
We are in the midst of redefining our brand visual style and this page will help guide that. From a high level stand point the page should be clean, engaging and with easy to digest information.
THIS IS NOT for the National Debt Relief homepage. This contest is to nail the aesthetic of the overall Customer Portal site starting with the homepage/dashboard. The winner will have the opportunity to continue working on the rest of the pages of the site on a longer term deal.
The following is a list of items that we believe should exist on the homepage/navbar:
o Debt Free Date (ex: March 21, 2022)
o Debt Reduction to Date (ex: $5,432.55)
o Payoff Forecast Infographic (amount saved in account vs amount needed for next milestone)
o Creditor Account Information (bank logo, name of bank, amount of debt enrolled, status: on hold/in progress/resolved)
o Alerts (user missed a deposit, we have a settlement offer and the user needs to approve it, we need the user to upload a document…)
o What’s Going On Now (user needs to save $xxx in order for us to begin negotiating, we are negotiating with Chase…)

Do not use any lifestyle photography. The page should consist of copy and data visualization, not photos.
The Customer Portal is where customers come to view important information about their debt relief program. The portal is where the customer will come to learn about their next payment amount, next payment date, important alerts, creditor status and their next steps. The high level overview of the program is as follows: customer saves money into account, when certain amount of money is in the account NDR can begin to negotiate with creditors, a settlement is agreed upon and customer pays off creditor. Repeat until the customer is debt free.
We would like to add an element of gamification to the portal in order to add a little fun to the site. So instead of one bar chart showing “Paid $X of $Y (Total Debt)” that barely moves on a weekly or monthly basis, since it takes years to complete the program, we would like to show incremental data visualization elements. For example: a customer owes $2000 to Chase. We can start negotiating with Chase when the customer has saved $1000 in their account. So we should show a chart with $1000 as the milestone and then celebrate when the user reaches that milestone. Many more milestones and celebrations will follow but it breaks down the large chunk of debt into bite-size milestones that give the customer a more immediate sense of accomplishment.
For Desktop designs – assume that 900px height is the fold so be sure to keep the most important information above the fold.
