How rmcindoe started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Diabetic Complications Consortium
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
One of the greatest strengths of the Diabetic Complications Consortium (DiaComp) has been its ability to create an environment where communication and collaboration is fostered between investigators that don’t typically interact. The Diabetic Complications Consortium (DiaComp) will continue to provide such an environment by holding an annual scientific meeting and soliciting new collaborative activities that will broaden the scope of the consortium from animal model development to all basic and/or translational studies of diabetic complications.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
The current site is looking dated and it is time to redesign the site to look more modern. We would like to maintain the basic color scheme, but if you have a better idea we will consider it.
We are in the process of re-designing the website and would like to come up with a new look. We would like to maintain the same color scheme. The purpose of the site is to provide information to the scientific community as it relates to Diabetic complications. The current sight is focused on mouse models and incorporates research from human subjects as well. Once we have the home page designed, we will use that color theme and graphics throughout the site. We are looking for a scientific feel.
The home page will contain most of the content in the current website. We will need to incorporate a navigation menu as well. So please look at the current site (http://www.diacomp.org).
The site is a .NET 4.0 web site that uses Masters Pages, so we would like you to consider this when making your designs.
I have included the logo for the consortium in the file list. Maybe part of a watermark??
What to avoid
We would like to maintain the same color scheme, but if you have a better idea we would be willing to consider it.
