A- About Josaab Josaab Foundation is unique and the first organization providing hospice services (mobile and stationary hospice) free of charge for terminally-ill patients in Egypt. Josaab Mission statement Josaab mission is providing care and preserving the dignity of terminally-ill patients and their families through hospice services. This includes social, psychological, nursing and financial support offered free of charge by a trained multi-disciplinary team. Services Provided: Josaab provides mobile and stationary hospice services Hospice services provided at the patient's home are called mobile hospice services which are provided free of charge to the patients regardless of their socio- economic status. Josaab stationary hospice is a place for those terminally-ill patients who have no one to take care of them. The stationary hospice building is finished and is located near the Cairo- Ismailia road, behind the International Medical Center. Josaab Hospice services include: 1-Social Support Josaab Foundation provides social support to the terminally-ill patients and their families. Some of those patients feel isolated, desperate and fearful, as a result of increasing mental and physical burden. Josaab team members address these feelings during regular visits through active listening and effective communication. The patient finds comfort in knowing that there are those who understand, care and listen to him/her. 2-Psychological Support The suffering of the terminally ill patient can be psychological and extends to all members of his/her family, so Josaab team includes well trained and qualified psychologists to deal with such cases and their families. 3-Nursing support Terminally-ill patients sometimes require installing IV solutions and fluids at home. They might have deep wounds that need constant dressing and/or need to receive IM injections. Josaab trained nurses are highly qualified individuals that provide optimal nursing services to terminal patients at their premises. 4-Financial support Some patients' financial resources are drained by their illness, and they are unable to live with dignity. After conclusive studies of the patients' condition, Josaab offers financial support in different ways to enable them to live with dignity. 5-Legal support Josaab helps the patients and their families to finish official documents and some pending legal issues. History of the organization Josaab Is a nonprofit organization registered under license number 7800 for the year 2010 at the Egyptian Ministry of Social Affairs. Josaab Foundation has initiated hospice services in Egypt in 2010, and since then has been serving terminally-ill patients through mobile hospice services. Page 1-) Homepage: -Menus (according to the attached sitemap) -The page may also include a video -Social media buttons (Facebook, Instagram, Wordpress) -Very important elements: Volunteer and Donate buttons, attractive and catchy but yet not the main focus of the page. -Events and news feed May or may not include shortcuts to the important sections on the website such as volunteers and patients stories, or the gallery. Internal Page: Page 2- Volunteers page: volunteers are the backbone of the organization, Josaab continuously needs diverse volunteers for different roles within the hospice service, we need to attract volunteers to the service and motivate them, by showing the human side and emphasizing how much they can make a difference. This page needs to be inviting, and emotional, the volunteer is needed to fill a short form by the end of this page. Throughout the website, we need to have 2 buttons (Volunteer now) and Donate, these buttons will be on the homepage and on all the internal pages as well. We prefer if these buttons are iconized creatively inspired by the idea of hospice and supporting terminally ill patients live with dignity.
What to avoid
