Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Lead Now Careers is for young (or young at heart) professionals seeking guidance on professional development, career pathing, and personal branding. I provide career coaching and continuous content on job searching trends on my blog.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Business & Consulting
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
I like simple and strategic use of of visuals as possible. I'm flexible with colors but like blues/teals and am prone to darker shades. I'd like to have buttons that direct users to the blog or the services page. I imagine this like the prius of career counselors (semi-boutique, socially good, and fun!)
Home Screen - introduce the company- sneak peek at the content available buttons to "services" "about me" & "contact us"
Services page- includes information about career coaching, workshops, personal branding services
Blog- articles about job search trends, millennials in the workplace- visuals
What to avoid
I see a lot of career coaching sites that look amateurish or clunky with too much information. This site is for my business but also my personal brand which I wanted to be: client driven, trustworthy, savvy.
This is my first attempt at running a business, so whether it becomes revenue generating or not, I want it to be a site that provides relevant content to my candidates and clients. Simplicity is important, but I trust your instinct in shaping my website.
