At the top we want Our Logo, the link to our awards, the chat icon and the phone number similar to what we have now, just looking nicer.
Below that we want a navigation bar similar to http://www.nationaldebtrelief.com/ where there is a drop-down mouseover effect. I like the dark grey color for the columns as well.
Below that we want the from to look like http://www.curadebt.com/freequote/#form
with an arrow calling attention to where they need to fill out their information, and a big bright button call to action.
In terms of layout it should be similar to curadebt.com after that, with a brief description of our services and then all our awards and certifications below that. Important here is the page should be well formatted, easy to read, and not involve a lot of scrolling. Also we want the page to be responsive, so please keep that in mind when designing the page. You can look at something like http://www.fitorbit.com/personal-trainers or http://www.cesisolutions.org/ for inspiration. But it is very important to keep the form at the top.
In terms of colors for the page I would think that it would be best to stick to white, black, green and gold, like what we have in our logo. This should be the base as it were to design off of. Make sure all graphics and fonts are crisp, clean and professional looking. The site should radiate professionalism in every way and at all times. In lines with this please make sure the buttons look professional; shaded, 3d style buttons that call the attention of the viewer. Everything is about making them want to give their information and fill the form, and the call to action button is a huge part of that.
We want people to understand why we’re the best immediately and not feel the need to hunt for this information. They came to us for a solution so lets try and give it to them quickly. Also similar to http://www.merchantone.com/ we want to make it clear why we are the best at once. As soon as you enter that page you are given reasons why you should trust them, and we want customers to feel the same about us. Both their rotating background and the box on the right give benefits. Its a powerful motivator to choose them if you are browsing the page. Because trust is so important in this industry, it is vital that all our credentials be on the front page. You can change the formatting to make it look better, but they all need to be their.
One thing that would be good, if the page goes long, is a hovering bar at the top of the page that people can click on to go straight to the form.
Also one thing I really like is colors in icons. I find that too much white and dark grey on sites just tires my eyes and bores me. For the services we offer, could these have icons people can click on for more information, that are bright and colorful (yet profesional) similar to http://www.debthelper.com/ or even something simpler like the icons on the left side of http://www.bills.com/ just something to attract the eye.
For the interior pages, the main issue is going to be readability. It will be important to format the pages to have images in the text so that it breaks up what they are reading. If you can design some nice headers and subheaders that would also help a lot. Also I think it would be best to use a two column design, the left (main) column for the article or whatever the main text will be and on the right I’d like to include:
The form again but smaller (obviously)
Our phone number
The plugin from customerlobby showing our client recommendations
Links to other parts of the site
A debt calculator so that someone can see right away how much their debt is going to cost them, and how much they could potentially save with us
