Games & Recreational
We are a gaming company that produces mobile games. All of our games will have a common character, Gorb (pictures attached), but we are not trying to emphasize that much- it is just a little touch to help branding. Our main focus is the fact that we allow users to win virtual currency through our games. Our website will be where users can manage their accounts, learn about our other games, etc.
http://redsteelgame.uk.ubi.com/red-steel-2/ I like how clean this layout is, while still conveying excitement through amazing graphic design. http://dragonage.bioware.com/ This is great in terms of navigation, cleanliness, and graphic design, but this is really not the feel that we're going for (too fantasy and game-y).
Page 1 -- Landing: The landing page needs to draw the visitor in. It needs to be exciting and needs to communicate what we do. The goal: if I arrive on the landing site, I will most likely browse through the rest of the website. It should be immediately be creating a mental link to the games we offer. Page 2 -- Games: Here we present our suite of games currently available through our service. We need an easy an intuitive way of navigating through games (perhaps with thumbnails that expand into screenshots of the game, instructions etc). The games need to be presented in a format that makes them look appealing. If you are interested in a specific game, you should be able click on the game and get further details. Specifically, you get instructions on how to play, how to gain points etc. Page 3 -- How it works: This is page that explains more generally what our concept is and what we are doing. This is for people that want to know more about us, before they trust us (i.e. with their credit card info). It needs to be a sleek good design, but obviously CANNOT bore people. I am quite open when it comes to the design of this page... please be creative. We will be using this design for several other pages that are serve a similar informational purpose. Page 4 -- Payments: a relatively standard payments page that looks super sleek and professional, but does not break with the general feel of the website.
We are looking for the most creative designers who are able to incorporate solid, strong, sharp, edgy lines and colors that communicate power and adventure (and perhaps royalty), thought-provoking design, & preferably (but not mandatory) incorporating our character, Gorb (pictures attached, although please don't just copy/paste- draw your own renditions) into the web design. We'd like to see clever, cool website designs that have personality and convey excitement, adrenaline, and adventure. Please play around with the overall feeling, but please KEEP IT PROFESSIONAL AND CLEAN (very important!)- real money will be involved, so we don't want anything comic-y, cartoon-y, or anything with a scifi or fantasy feel. Our demographic is between the ages of 18-35. Try to convey as much excitement as possible using lines, angles, colors. The logo should be visible on each page- as you can tell, we haven't decided on a color yet, but feel free to play around with that as well. GOOD LUCK!
