Very quickly came to a great design, and made any adjustments I wanted quickly and professionally. Compared to other designers, he always paid attention to details, like aligning things, even margins, fonts and other small things that make it look above great. Very happy with the result!

How Niclas Marie started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We sell digital microscopes to the manufacturing industry. Almost all of our clients are men and very technical.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
I want it modernized, with a more flat look, professional. A blue background with blue/black/grey details, with rather big and nice fonts. Since most products look the same, I want focus on the product name, features and price.
The page I want is the product category listing. I have made a mockup of the items and the general layout. Feel free to be creative, but I need the following items:
- Header with logo
- Menu either inside the header or below
- Search bar
- Left menu with categories (not clickable) and items (clickable)
- Shopping cart
- Contact details (email + phone) + link to contact form
- Category title and intro text
- Product listing (first one is featured product that stands out)
- Footer with short text, links to articles and contact details
Each product listing should have the following items:
- Product name (Dino-Lite Extreme 200x Polarize)
- Article id (AD7013MZT)
- Magnification (200x)
- Price (Can be written as 7 995:-, not $)
- Up to 3 features
- Availability (In stock / Finns i lager)
You are free to choose the order of all the product items.
Please note that the product names are rather long, and I think they look better if they are on one line and don't wrap.
I also attached a mockup of the new start page for the website, and I like the idea of bold serif fonts for titles, and sans serif for other text. It would be ideal if these two are rather similar, but don't let that stop your creativity. The header and footer can definitely be improved a lot :)
The fonts I used in the mockup are from TypeKit. It's Adelle Regular and Bold, and Tisa Sans Pro Regular/Bold.
