delta Karlsruhe GmbH
delta is a reputable student business consultancy, realizing the vision of directly applying university knowledge in practical consulting projects. delta offers a consulting service in marketing & sales, IT systems, strategy, human resources, quality management, logistics and finance that is beneficial for and close to the customer.
The website is supposed to give information on delta for both companies in need of the offered services as well as students that are potentially interested in becoming part of delta. These students are usually from Karlsruhe and the surrounding areas and mostly study at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
Regarding the two target groups – companies and students – companies should enjoy a larger focus and be regarded as the primary. “Companies”, in this case, encompasses companies of all sizes although the focus should be on mid-sized businesses.
modern, dynamic, young, clean, factual, serious, of high quality, targeted, success oriented, professional, potentially containing references to the name (delta as the Greek letter, triangle shape)
Objective:
The page that is to be designed will be the starting page of the website. It should arouse the viewer’s interest and contain links to further detailed information.
Content sections:
- Overview of e.g. the project process and advantages of delta to explain what delta is
- Range of services delta has to offer (this includes product portfolio and potentially past project references)
- Links to pages like “Sitemap, About, Privacy Statement, etc.”
- Logos of partner companies
- ISO 9001 logo (can be found on our current website)
- Karlsruhe Institute of Technology logo
- Discreet social media icons for Facebook and Xing
Styling:
- The website should be based on the following colors (for more information see attached styleguide): cyan, black and white
- Good use of white space
- Little use of borders
No Flash should be used. There should be no hover effects. Structure should be easily adaptable for mobile devices. The website should not strongly differ from the delta Corporate Design that is defined in the attached files.
On the final website, we will utilize the font replica, for the design you can simply substitute it with arial if you have no access to the replica font. A potential idea would be to use pictures with highlights in delta colors. The final result should be a layered photoshop file.
As a first failed attempt to modernize the website, delta created a test version of a new website a while ago. Although this design will no longer be used and the corporate design has changed, it might be worth a look (http://www.delta-testen.de).
Also, don't copy and design from existing sites.
