Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our parent business is a Digital Media Strategy/Planning/Buying Agency. We primarily target Advertisers in the consumer space (Travel, Education, Entertainment, Consumer Finance, Competitions, Tech) though we do also work with larger ad agencies.
This project is our BrandSafeLeadGen.com.au product, a Australian product targeted toward advertisers and online publishers who seek to tap into our API for the purposes of validating consumer data in realtime. This is a data cleansing service currently provided to a large number of clients at dlnmedia.com.au
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
This site needs to be very simple clean and will contain very simple messaging. It is simply a destination for customers to be able to get a flavour of the service/product we provide then from there they do need to contact us via the webform. I am there fore keen to go for a 1 page type design (not sure what it's called) but the design is becoming common, backed by maybe 2-3 subpages accessed by clicking on the respective tabs. I have been involved in the design of http://www.premiumx.com which gives the one page feel + imagery on the back. More recently I have seen a very similar site in http://www.outspoken.com that does exactly what I need plus maybe 1-2 pages of content, an API reference tab, and a contact us tab. The overall feel of the site must be brand/safety/trust/security.
Homepage will contain all key product points (1) BrandSafeLeadGen (2) BrandSafeLeadGen for Advertisers (3) BrandSafeLeadGen for Publishers (4) Contact Us similar layout to premiumx.com. We then need a menu at the top where consumers can click on a tab that takes them to that next sub-page that will have written content for the 4 points
What to avoid
Must be professional, don't steer toward cute animations. We are a cool, innovative, groovy office like Instagram offices.. we are not a cute fluffy petshop. We are at the leading edge of Innovation. We are clear and simply. I dislike messiness.. Apple design is my nirvana.
