No – but I want to find a simple illustration/symbol – a modern version of something like a old style rolled parchment with quill pen which will cause those coming to the website to realize that I do wills and trusts, etc.

No.  My stationary and envelope is  a light cream color

I am an attorney with primary areas of legal practice (1) Estate and Trust Administration; (2) Estate Planning; (3) Business Organization and Transactions; (4) Financial Transactions; (5) Real Estate; (6) Not-For-Profit Organizations   --- I am a legal “problem solverâ€
 
1f) Who is your target market? Who are you hoping to reach with your site?
Primarily prospective clients looking for estate administration and estate planning attorneys in Cook County, Il.  The prospective clients will be directed to the website by an internet search engine.   I want those who check out the site to then call me to discuss their legal problem.

No websites that I can think of.  The Legal sites are all too complex for the limited scope I want to achieve with this website. 

The colors I believe that will work best a a calm – but lively blue, white a black lettering.  I am open to other thoughts.

The website must look professional, friendly, easy to read and use, clean, up to date/modern – with a clean typeface like Arial (I use Arial in all my written correspondence, etc.)

This website is for an attorney seeking to have prospective clients retain him to assist in estate administration, estate planning, etc.  It must be professional – but also must appear friendly, accessible, etc.
