shkedy got their new web page design (coded) by running a design contest:
LocalWorldNumber.Com Site Design Contest
Check out shkedy's Web Page Design (Coded) contest…
www.LocalWorldNumber.Com needs a face lift. We are looking for a design template that will include: 1. Creative assets - images - some flash is OK but minimal 2. A Css file and classes for elements in the site - no hard coding of fonts and colors in the HTML itself. 3. A preference for Text/Css buttons of graphic gif
What's your vision?
Tagline: TBD Desired Color Scheme: Blues and white - some accents in orange is possible. You can stray from that a little (like for the gold or silver plan). Needs to be readable Accepted File Formats: GIF, JPEG, HTML, CSS LocalWorldNumber.Com offers local access numbers in a users home country that can be redirected to anywhere else in the world. The site is geard towards either business people or people living away from their home country. Guidelines: 1. We are looking for something that will look fresh and not too techy. This product is meant for people not using skype or technology and we are not looking to scare them with something too tech. 2. Needs to be very readable for people that do not have the best eye sight - so a nice contrast between font and background and a readable font. 3. We do not have any specific colors in mind 4. Minimal or no use of flash and if flash is used not for navigation 5. We prefer navigation that is text based so we do not need a graphic designer to make changes. If you can do it with text on a style sheet class or text on image that would be great. 6. We like having images of people talking on the phone (cell or landline) to be integrated throughout the site. 6. Navigation has a 2nd tier that is visible when a user logs in so please account for that also I will try to post a screen capture. 7. We work with CSS heavily not with inline fonts or design so make sure your design is done with CSS classes to make it easy for us to integrate. 8. Optimize the site for 1024x768 Deliverables 1. HTML page showing the site design with a 2 tier navigation, login panel header footer and some sample text. 2. CSS file for said page. 3. Graphic elements used for the design ready for the web. 4. 5-10 stock images of people talking on the phone or of phones that we can spreatd throughout the site- there are plenty of free ones online. We can provide you with some. Additional Information 1. A sample internal page with 2 tier navigation can be seen here any submission will have to account for the 2nd tier nav (2nd line in the menu that you see once you are logged in) 2. a placeholder for the logo (which will be a subject for another competition) is available here
