How matthewN started their logo & social media pack journey
Who are you known as?
QBHacker QB Hacker whichever way it looks and works best.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our company delivers QuickBooks Training to accountants, bookkeepers and small businesses. We're building a blog for the accountant, bookkeeper community to help them build accounting systems to help their clients (aka QuickBooks hacking). Hacking in this sense would be a positive "hacking" where you're building something for clients. An ecosystem of apps and processes to build an awesome accounting system. Our goal is to be more socially savvy and a little bit cooler than the typical "accountant" brands online today.
I would like the logo to be more fun than serious if that helps.
See the logos of Geeks, Big Kid gaming, and AdSumo for more examples, closer to what I want. They're listed below.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Business & Consulting
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
Please don't use blue or red in the logo. They don't project the warmth that I'm going for. I like the Geeks look below because of the warmth.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Playful but professional animation. Does not look like a cartoon character.
A few things to consider are the following.
1. I'm speaking to accountants and bookkeeper that I would consider to be progressive, so they're not your classic old time accountants
2. I mean "hacker" similar to the context of "Growth Hacker" or some of the more positive connotations of "hacking"
3. We are specifically supporting the Intuit brand QuickBooks. This is not to make you lean that way, but that's the focal point of the "QB Hacking"
4. Our blog will eventually incorporate e-books, blog posts, infographics and other tools designed to build an audience. Eventually, I want to sell courses and other digital products.
