GOGLA is the global association of the off-grid solar energy industry. Our members finance, produce and distribute off-grid solar products (solar lanterns, solar home systems and appliances). The India Distributed Energy Forum and Expo has a focus on discussions around the future potential for the decentralized solar market in India keeping the private sector at the center. Another aim is to provide a platform for innovative global as well as local companies to exhibit their product range to all stakeholders of the Indian market including Government representatives, potential business partners, financial institutions, donors and industry practitioners. Co-organizers of the conference are the IFC and Ashden India.
The event has the tagline “Advancing Access through Distributed Solar”.
This is the first time the conference will be held as a regionally-focused event in India. The global equivalent is our flagship event, the Global Off-Grid Solar Forum and Expo. For branding and logo inspiration, you can visit http://www.offgridsolarforum.org or http://www.gogla.org.
There will be senior industry and government representatives among the audience while the distributed solar sector as such consists of numerous start-ups gathering young and innovative entrepreneurs.
The to-be-designed logo should capture the innovate and entrepreneurial nature of the event while maintaining a serious and professional look. Elements that might be incorporated in the logo are solar panels, the sun, networks, Indian map. It is our intention to use the logo for future editions of the event, it should thus be recognizable and flexible enough to make minor changes if needed (e.g. adding or deleting a word in the event title).
The logo package must include a color, grayscale and black/white version.
