This is a parent company that has a product line called Buck Paint. Buck Paint already has an identity which can be seen at buckpaint.com. Please look at this site and follow its design queues. It does not need to match, but there should be design consistency across the brand families.
Also, we named the company forge because like forging in iron, managing animal health takes consistency and time. We believe in doing things right. No short cuts. The logo feel should represent this simple nostalgia.
I would consider logos with an anvil, representing forging. A whitetail deer would be appropriate, however I am picky, because there are so many hunting logos with deer.
Also love negative space work.
Anyways, enough from me. I am open to any beautiful designs.
Have fun my friends, we need you.
Update- There are a few trends I am noticing, and want to be as open as possible. First; I am drawn to masculine work, especially based on the hunting demographic, and second; it is important that it is a white-tailed deer and not an elk, stag or caribou.
