Entertainment & The Arts
MusicianLife.Co is a website designed to support musicians growth and happiness. It is more focussed on life coaching to help each musician find their own unique path to be happy as a musician and artist. MusicianLife.Co will be a website that does affiliate marketing and sells other peoples online courses that were made for musicians. These affiliate sales courses are more focussed on "strategy" of how to tour successfully, how to do marketing for musicians, how to produce, how to write a song, etc. Along with selling other peoples products, musicianlife.co will also sell it's own courses. The musicianlife.co original courses will be more focussed on life coaching for musicians than "strategy" coaching. The overall vibe of the brand should be happy, uplifting, hopeful, optimistic, creative, and playful. I have chosen the Joshua Tree as my logo for this website because I will be filming the musicianlife.co original courses in Joshua Tree National park. I have chosen the Joshua Tree because they live to be hundreds of years old, sometimes thousands of years old, they are only found 1 place in the world, and they live in a very inhospitable environment, yet they flourish. I use this metaphor of the Joshua Tree to compare to life as an artist in the "desert" of our creativity. The Joshua Tree has maintained it's artistic/creative vision, it's longevity, it's originality, it's authenticity, despite the harsh conditions surrounding it. Using this metaphor I will teach musicians and artists to be happy with wherever they are in the creative process and to learn how to not give up on themselves when they are "running dry". I am not trying to help people achieve the status quo of "success", but rather am trying to help them find their own idea of success that will allow them to be happy.
I am going to end up making a T-shirt with the font that is used in the logo. The t-shirt will say #MusicianLife. I was playing around the other day and found a font that I kind of liked. I'm open to ideas, but just wanted you to know what struck me as a really good readable font. It is League Spartan if anyone is wondering. I have attached 2 images with musicianlife.co and #musicianlife. Here are some photos from a recent trip to Joshua Tree. I want to basically use the colors from these photos in the designs. The sky blue is probably that main color with the green and black of the tree being secondary and the yellow of the boulders being 3rd. You know, keeping that happy, positive, optimistic vibe that is kind of felt in these images. I think it would be cool to digitally render an image of a joshua tree. ****************************** All of this will ultimately turn into the branding for my website, just as an fyi as to where it's headed in the future. That's all I got. Look forward to seeing what create!
