This is an opportunity for 12 to 16 year old children to learn values - particularly those of work ethic, mechanical skills, making choices, and goal setting. We will be accepting donations of used bicycles in need
of repair. The shop has workstations set up for the kids to repair the used bikes. The time they spend repairing will accumulate for them credits that they can save until they accumulate enough to trade for a bicycle for themselves. While doing this they will be learning mechanical skills, work ethic, and prioritizing their choices. This will be an after school type project. There will be no product sold for cash. The only way to get what they desire is by working on the bikes. I will also be open for teens to bring their own bikes in need of repair so they may have help in repairing their own bikes. "Building character one bike at a time."
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I would like a logo. If possible, I would like it to include a bicycle, the name "Life Cycles", and maybe even a teenager. These could all be stylized as long as each attribute is clear to see.
I will attach a favorite logo of mine that was produced for me years ago of an awards and trophy business called Award One.
