It was important for me to capture the rustic heritage of this estate but in a way that was compelling and sophisticated to a globe-trotting, Monocle reading audience. For me, true luxury isn’t loud or brash, it’s understated, personal, considered and something to savour slowly and thoughtfully. I stripped away the fluff and was left with the essentials of what I believe makes good design - considered and thoughtful use of typography, hierarchy and form.
