Jack is approaching forty-five. He has a good job, and his life is on a simple trajectory. And then he is made redundant. His life crashes around him. Instead of telling his wife that he has lost his job, he decides to turn amateur detective to work out why there have been so many recent redundancies at his company. There have long been rumors of a mole in the company, selling secrets to an industry news site. Jack juggles the difficulties of running an investigation in a building where he will be instantly recognized with the ridiculous choice to keep his wife in the dark.
