Guayusa (Ilex guayusa) is a holly tree native to the Amazon rainforest.
The client was looking for a raw, abstract, simple logo for Guayasa Tea (raw drink) and wanted to avoid the typical tea leaves.
Hence I thought an abstract representation of tall trees in the Amazon rainforest might be good to achieve the 'rawness and abstractness' of the brand along with an equally 'raw' font.
