Design-wise the most stand-out feature in the whole flow is the top gradient, which is present on the first view of all pages in the design. It was put there intentionally - these are the official World Cup 2022 colors and this is a way to signify that the application is directly related to the World Cup, as the FIFA or World Cup logos can't be used.

For most categories, I've chosen a horizontal scroll to be used so that the user can get to more information as quickly as possible without having to spend that much time looking at everything individually. What I mean by horizontal scroll is, for example, scrolling to the left on the cards in the "News" section to reveal more cards with other useful information on them. This is a widely used approach in many modern apps and I think it really fits here, as the app needs to display a lot of information while also not bombarding the user with too much info.
