We are designing packaging for a premium first-aid kit that includes a high-tech, professional-grade product to stop bleeding quick (AllaQuix). The kit will retail in pharmacies. AllaQuix, and other products like it, are not found in retail pharmacies and consumers are generally not aware of specific products to stop bleeding. Since AllaQuix™ and the concept behind it are new, it would be helpful to use the packaging to explain the concept and product.
The message we want to convey is that the AllaQuix™ brand is a premium, high-tech, professional-grade solution to Stop Bleeding Quick Like the Pros. We want people to feel that they are getting something special, a product that puts them into an exclusive group. AllaQuix™ costs significantly more than a box of Band-Aids and the packaging needs to help convey that the price is worth it.
Our primary target market for this test is people that normally have trouble controlling bleeding. These are people that are on medications such as blood thinners or anticoagulants or people with genetic conditions that do not allow their blood to clot normally. Most people on blood thinners are seniors. Since AllaQuix™ is a premium-priced, cutting-edge product, we are going after the early adopters.
There needs to be wording on the package that tells the consumer what the product is, benefits of why the consumer "needs" to buy Allaquix.
