New design with recognition value for the packaging of the natural medicine "Ultracarbon N.F.”

Ultracarbon N.F.

Ultracarbon N.F. is an intestinal remedy made of pure medicinal activated vegetable carbon (consists of coconut shells). It is made from all-natural plant-based sources with cleansing, adsorbing and detoxifying properties to regulate the digestive tract and alleviate: • Diarrhea • Flatulence • Food or Oral Drug Poisoning

Ultracarbon N.F. is consumed by both men and women alike and is taken from all social strata. The typical customer of Ultracarbon N.F. is probably 35 years+. The product is recommended by doctors (e.g. in hospitals), especially for the treatment of diarrhoea and food poisoning, but is also (and primarily) sold in pharmacies (as an OTC drug) to the end consumer. Moreover, Ultracarbon N.F. is also suitable for the travel first-aid kit. The product will be available in the Asian region (e.g. Malaysia, Singapore).

Our natural medicine Ultracarbon has an existing packaging, which we want to update. The new packaging should be an evolution of the old/existing packaging. The “old/existing” and the “new” should be different, yet mistakable. The colour schemes should mirror those of the existing packaging. The name will be changed from "Ultracarbon" to "Ultracarbon N.F.". What is essential: While individual elements can be changed, the RECOGNITION VALUE of the packaging should be retained at all costs! What should be retained in the design? • Colours (white/orange/yellow) are an important recognition feature and should be maintained. Colours should be created in CMYK (for details see attachment). • Arrangement of the texts: in principle, the arrangement of the texts (in relation to the pages of the packaging) should be maintained - however, minor changes are possible within a page itself (especially on the title page). • Barcode: Please leave a placeholder for all barcodes on the design! The Laetus code on the flap must remain where it currently is. The EAN/barcode can also be positioned differently. However, the size of the codes must be identical. • Text: Please take the text from our current existing design - with the following minor changes: o Add "N.F." to "Ultracarbon" o Leave registration number blank o "Registration holder/imported by": as this is country-specific, leave enough space here in case the data changes o Manufactured by: "F. Trenka chem.-pharm. Fabrik GmbH, Vienna/Austria" (instead of Merck) What can be changed? • Font: we kindly ask you to choose a font that is similar to the current font. It would be desirable to choose one that modernises the product somewhat, but at the same time reflects the current character. An internationally recognised font is desirable (packaging and its font should be usable internationally in the end). • Number of fonts: Please choose only 1 font for the text! The font of the logo of Ultracarbon N.F. may differ - if considered necessary. • Size of the running text: the size should be at least 7 pt (based on Arial) • Mascot: The current mascot can be renewed or replaced (possibly even omitted). We look forward to your creative ideas! Attention: Recognition value should still be maintained! • Design of the background (lines): this can also be modernised! Special requirements An identical design for two different packaging sizes (20s) (+ 50s: follow-up project) • 20-pack - see the attachment for the exact dimensions! (please start with this (smaller) version, otherwise there may be too much text) • 50-pack - for the exact dimensions, please see the attachment! (The 50 packaging will later be implemented in a 1:1 project with the winner in the aftermath!)!! Indication Please include all 3 indications in the design (Diarrhea / Flatulence / Food or Oral Drug Poisoning) However, it is advisable to develop a design that ensures that the indications are easily hidden/omitted, without having to change the entire packaging in the aftermath.
