Winner of the design is from "Ad Authority", congratulations.
We have been making head-way.
1. The buyer had limited to 3 names, XTRO, GARBX, BAGBOX, one of these
will be selected as the final product, with GARBX being the most
2. The competition has been guaranteed, buyer has a clear design style
which is liked. As I cannot share the designs between people, we will
add our own illustrations and guide the designers. Please feel free
PM me for clarification.
The backdrop is a "steel plate", actual steel plate color (metal).
Bolted on, or riveted on is the front design which is bolted/riveted
to the back design ; this is "floating" on backdrop. This is also a
"steel plate" which is colourised and contains the main designs.
I will be leaving personalized feedback, so if have questions, please
let me know.
I will be seeing the buyer towards the end of the month with mockups
of all designs. A Huge thank You to all the designers and fingers
In the event you get a head rush for a new design, please do submit
it, cut off 27th.
For current range if interested, please have a look at
http://www.jpackproducts.com.au/; Note we do NOT want the same look.
I have spoken to the buyer from this category, apologies for the
delay, it take a while to organize a meeting.
The buyer has requested that Australian Made is clearly visible, via
either text or Logo or both.
The colours used, need to be masculine. The artwork to reflect
industrial strength, use metal checker plate, use nails, make it look
like a toolbox, these are just ideas. This is a box which you should
be able to imagine with an industry type person, carrying all around
(no light pink or such unless appropriate). These are industry bags.
Ideally not just explicitly say industrial say, show that it is
industrial strength. In addition, the buyer would like a clean look
for the artwork, where the branded looks work together and as each
The following are comments from sample images attached, do not use
them for the design, get a feeling what the buyer is after.
reference1 - Ideal design from the buyers point of view. Clean,
informative, easy to read, and masculine and layered design. Gives is
a 3D feel.
reference2 - The design has a very good 3D feel, well layered
products. A little busy, informative, easy to read. A little
reference3 - This example is to illustrate a branded look, while a
clean design, it is very hard to read, and is focused on the
'Cruskits". In terms of a branded look, the buyer likes it.
reference4 - This example is to illustrate a clean look. The "Bran
flakes and sultanas" is a very clean look, product to the left. The
"Dick Smith" is very busy, though it is easier to read, this is the
middle one. The "Sanitarium , light 'n' tasty" is clean and easy to
read according to the buyer.
reference5 - This example is to illustrate a feel for the package. the
theme is organic, and everything from the grass to the hemp says
organic without even having to read the word organic, the buyer would
like the same for industrial strength. Clean design and easy to read.
In addition, the buyer did not like the name "baest", we will carry on
with this temporary name, if you have a name the buyers likes, we can
offer an additional winning of 299 AUD in addition to any winnings
will have, this may be a private transfer(need to check if 99design
allows it). The name needs to be able to be registered in Australia,
loud, short (1 or 2 syllable), easy to remember and relating to
industrial strength and/or masculinity.
