Description of the product
Champong is essentially beer pong but for champagne. Played with a gold ball and gold-rimmed champagne glasses; it brings an element of "class" to the classic party game.
Description of the product target audience
We are aiming to reach adults who have grown out of the traditional red solo-cup beer pong game, but still want to have fun. Game is meant to be played by young adults at celebratory events (New Years Eve, bachelorettes, weddings, engagement parties, etc)
We are looking for a sleeve for a black drawer box. Feel free to use a combination of stock images and illustrations or anything that you think would look great on the design. ON THE FRONT: We want to see the name of the product as well as imagery that suggests what's inside/how the game is played (see File 1 for game contents). That said, we do not want "people" illustrated, but rather have the focus on the game itself and the box contents. We want to highlight the gold ball as well as the gold rim on the cups. It's critical that the gold comes across despite the matte colour of the packaging. Overall, we want the artwork to be elegant, but fun. See attached File 2 for an example sketch (does not have to look like this, just an idea). Somewhere underneath the name Champong we want to see “Bring on the bubbly.” Somewhere on the front, we also want to see the company logo, but it does not have to be large or dominant. See attached File 3 for an image of our competitor’s packaging (Prosecco Pong) – we want our packaging to look more premium (while still remaining fun), and slightly more gender-neutral. ON THE BACK: Must include: 1. The game’s contents: 12 Plastic Gold-Rimmed Cups & 3 Gold Pong Balls 2. Imagery that illustrates simply how to play the game, with pictures and descriptions for each of these steps: 1) Rack six glasses at each end of the table, in a triangle formation. 2) Form two teams and alternate taking shots at the opposite side, aiming to land in the cups. 3) If you land the ball in a cup, then a player on the opposing team must drink its contents and remove the cup from the game. The team to eliminate all their opponents’ cups first, wins! 3. The warning: WARNING [IN BOLD]: This is not a toy. Wash before reuse. Not for use in a dishwasher. Recommended for adult use only. Not suitable for persons under 21. PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY. [IN BOLD] AVERTISSEMENT [IN BOLD]: Ceci n’est pas un jouet. Laver avant de réutiliser. Ne pas mettre au lave-vaisselle. Usage recommandé uniquement pour adultes. BUVEZ DE MANIÈRE RESPONSABLE.[IN BOLD] 4. The company logo again somewhere on the back, with the website www.hitpauseandplay.com underneath it. 5. An instragram/facebook/twitter logo to incite activity on social media. “Pop & pose! Share your memories at #Champong and #Pause&Play” See example attached (File 4) of the back of our competitor's packaging as an example. ON THE SIDES: Please just recreate game title in a way that blends with rest of packaging.
What to avoid
We want the design to be fun, elegant, and slightly feminine but please avoid making it too feminine. We want all imagery on the packaging to be illustrated, please avoid photos.
