Corridors of Power
Description of the product
Corridors of Power is a board game. It is a highly social game, requiring players to charm, manipulate and betray one another to get ahead. Its theme is a humorous & irreverent take on politics and dirty deals
Description of the product target audience
The game is a light strategy board game. It is intended for a group of adult friends to play in the afternoon or evening over a few drinks or a dinner. It is typically characterized by raucous laughter and some hurt feelings as players wheedle and deal with each other.
We have completed a first attempt at a front-of-box design & art assets (attached in the PSD file named CorridorsofPower_WatercolourVisual). We like the concept of the "face cloud" which you can see on the front of the box we have provided. We would like the designer to:
1. Improve the overall coherence of the box design & color pallet (Possibly Purples / Black / Blue / Red Tones?) to deliver a dramatic & distinctive overall feel, which speaks to the combative, regal & high-drama nature of the game. We would like this colour palette and texture choice to be usable across platforms (e.g. Kickstarter, website & also usable on the card backs in the box)
2. Improve the title font choice / design to deliver a high impact & iconic name ("Corridors of Power"). Don't feel constrained by the current mock-up in the dropbox folder called "CorridorsofPower_Logo" - this was an initial example.
3. Layout the informational elements on the front and back of the box - See mockups to see the elements we require designed / positioned in the Powerpoint file titled - Box_Elements . Where the elements cannot be designed (e.g. UPC Code), please leave an appropriate space in the design
4. text/sub-text font on the rear of the box should be Raleway - this is the font used on the cards included in the game
