Vector 5 did an INCREDIBLE job with our logo design. Really took the design where I wanted and came up with some fantastic designs on their own. It was a pleasure to work with you!
Excellent work; creative, fast and responsive. Will definitely use again.
How NetReturn started their product label journey
Who are you known as?
NetReturn, Inc., New York, NY
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Entertainment & The Arts
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
NetReturn is in post production on a documentary about fragrance, etc. The target audience for the film is the general public.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Create a product label that parodies a popular Fragrance brand - celebrity or designer. We prefer the tone of the humor to be light but still provocative instead of mean spirited (maybe a little spirited).
The deliverable is a real looking product label that could be used, for example, on the attached blank perfume bottle. We plan to use the best labels on our soon-to-be-launched film website and maybe even in the film. It may also be used to showcase our new app "Faking Scents" that will be launching soon.
One of the threads of the documentary is that the actual ingredients in fragrance is a government protected trade secret and consumers don't know what is inside the bottle (and it could be hundreds of undisclosed chemicals). Materials in fragrance may be good or bad - we just don't know because they are a secret. Be as creative and out of the box about what could actually be inside the bottle. Fragrance companies can use almost any ingredient they want (and not disclose it) other than this very short list of banned items: http://www.fda.gov/Cosmetics/Produc…127406.htm
Can't wait to see your designs. Thanks in advance!
I don't want to steer any designers to the aesthetic of "wacky packs" but it is a good comp in terms of its parody value. Google "wacky packs" on google images to get some examples.
