Entertainment & The Arts
We produce theatrical touring shows for live audiences. In this case, the audience is Star Wars fans. Primarily men between 25 and 45 years old. Geeks in the fun sense. Any fan of the original movies would LOVE this show. One-Man Star Wars Trilogy.
What's your vision?
I need a poster/admat that can be used and adapted by local theatres to include their own ticket and venue information. It will be used for newspaper ads, posters, websites, etc. The concept will later be adapted for things like web banners, billboards, postcards, etc. In terms of creative, we're looking for simple. The Star Wars brand (their font and logo) sells the show. The visuals involved need to enhance the primary visual of their logo and give a sense that the show is theatrical and/or comedic. We find with this show. Less is more. I want to avoid things like starry backgrounds and specific Star Wars characters' images being used (eg. a storm trooper). "One-Man" needs to sit on top of the STAR WARS font/logo. "Trilogy" need to sit below. These should be in smaller font size, but likely same font. "Written and Performed by CHARLES ROSS" needs to be under that. 2 tweeted reviews need to be added as follows: "@billnofi - My life is now complete #onemanstarwars" "@bulbasaur33 - #onemanstarwars was so wonderfully weird, and hilarious." The website needs to go on "onemanstarwars.com" the poster somewhere. Bottom centre or top centre is fine" We need to leave black space at the bottom with no graphics (just background) for local theatres to insert their venue and ticket information.
I've attached a former poster, which we no longer like, along with a few select photos you can use to create the new one. The old poster is just for reference.
