How charles.mitri started their poster journey
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Entertainment & The Arts
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are filmmakers. Poster is to market our short film online and at film festivals we get accepted to.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Movie poster for a short film entitled "Table For Two". We'll need a graphic that will look good at standard poster size which is about 24" wide x 35" high.
A young mother, desperate to be free from crushing medical bills caused by a sick daughter, must convince her husband to finish a delicious meal prepared by a world-class French chef which he soon discovers is their child. (the story takes place in contemporary times during a private dinner for two in a restaurant that is closed to the public)
Looking for simple, iconic imagery similar in style to the examples provided. We like the poster style of Saul Bass from the 1960's Hitchcock films, but not limited to. We had few idea's you can play with, one is of two chairs and a table with a tablecloth with one chair knocked over in silhouette. The other is a birds eye view of the table with a spilled glass of red wine. The last is on a kind of "lovers triangle" including with artwork, or alone, images of our stars, maybe our chef in the middle. Feel free to play with these ideas or experiment with you own! Thanks!
