Produces hybrid music that virtuosically combines classical with popular
What's your vision?
We are seeking a modern and minimal concert poster for our upcoming performance in Brooklyn of TCHAIKOVSKY V. DRAKE, which is a symphonic fusion of Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony and the music of Drake, featuring a 60-piece orchestra, three vocalists, rapper, and pianist. The music is seamlessly blended, with Drake's melodies and raps superimposed over Tchaikovsky's orchestra. This concert will take place in Brooklyn, NYC. Therefore we need a poster that is edgy, stylish, and smart. We are appealing to a very style-savvy Brooklyn crowd- the poster NEEDS to feel right for this audience. What we want: You will be using the attached image from the Hotline Bling video (the yellow room), and you'll in essence be 'taking Drake out' and 'putting Stereo Hideout in' [via the typography]. [Feel free to grab images of your own from the video- but we want this yellow room] We want the poster to feel like a MINIMAL, stylish and modern art installation- simply that yellow room combined with very modern and appropriate typeface, and a modern approach to design. It should be intriguing. Use black, yellow and white to your advantage. The lettering/font is CRUCIAL. But as crucial is that people clearly recognize the Hotline Bling room/reference. Again- just to reinforce- it should be MINIMAL and STYLISH. Has to activate an audience in Brooklyn! We have attached some posters with the modern typography/design/graphics we like. Use those references for the overall feel of the poster, and even for some techniques. Note: we cannot use an image of Drake. But if you want to use an image of Tchaikovsky and treat it in a stylish/modern/avant-garde way, that is welcome. We've attached one. Here is the copy: STEREO HIDEOUT: BROOKLYN (at the top- this the name of the concert series) TCHAIKOVSKY V. DRAKE (biggest typeface- the title of the performance) STEVE HACKMAN'S EPIC SYMPHONIC EXPERIENCE (smallest text- subtitle) Friday, February 22nd 8 PM Kings Theatre Brooklyn [feel free to reformat the date/time/venue text as needed] -------- The poster should be A4 size, in the traditional portrait orientation. The two logos attached should also be on the poster. The Kings logo is the first, Catskill Jazz Factory the second. Thank you!!!
The poster should be A4 size, in the traditional portrait orientation.
