What's your vision?
A movie poster to reflect a new vision of horror. This is a poster for a feature sci-fi horror thriller. The poster should be standard movie poster size 27x40, also needed will be smaller versions 8x11 and 4x6. The title is "Dead Smart" this along with standard movie credits will need to be on the poster. Also include the tag line "Do you really think you're in control" The main character/protagonists is Alan Day a Twenty-six year old techie genius, lean, fit, a bit disheveled, attractive young man. Dresses casual. The main antagonists/villain/evil entity is the artificially intelligent smart phone. both of these should be incorporated. How much emphasis on either is up to you. Make sure the smart phone is generic no brand identity. One thought might be an image of a young man Alan looking down at his phone and a white beam of light shining up at him, creating a graphic Silhouette of Alan. Conveying that this new smart phone technology/AI intelligence begins to manipulate and control Alan taking him down a path of murder which is beyond his control. Another concept photo or illustration of Alan in foreground with the phone and included in the background, Jemma, a blond hot twenty five year old woman, Alan's co-worker. Dresses business casual. She is not a co-star so if choosing to add her she cannot be a main emphasis in the poster. We have included the synopsis below: Alan Day a young technology genius is on the brink of ultimate success having secretly developed the proprietary neural network smart phone, an artificial intelligence, a disruptive technology, that's sure to change the world. At the same time he is working for a start-up company and finding that his new co-workers ignite his past emotional idiosyncrasies of social awkwardness and isolation. Consequently Alan buries himself in his work, committed to his project, despite warnings of caution from his good friend Hochi that he is moving too fast. He hastily launches the network. leading him into an uncontrollable spiral of murder and mayhem when the free thinking anomaly he's created conjures up evil and plays him at his own game.
Some of the broader concepts of the film are: -Impending doom and danger of technology that is created to help us, ending up working against us, and eventually leading to our demise. -Blurring the distinction between human thinking and AI thinking There are virtual reality gaming concepts. There are Vegas slot machine and game show marketing looks that aid in the manipulations involved with leading to the murders. There are some relevant scenes that are set in the barren deserts of California. Other wise the majority of the story is set in Los Angeles, an urban setting. Also several scenes take place at the VR tech company office, a car interior and exterior is involved in many scenes, computer server rack scenes, the smart phone, a gun is the way some of the victims are killed or by the car. Please don't try and incorporate all of this into one poster we are looking for a professional clean high end design. These are only here to give you a broader sense and understanding of our films storyline. Please don't hesitate with any further questions you may have. Also we will be including the winning designers name in the final credits of the film.
