Paradox Lost is a scifi comedy feature film. A genre bending love story about time travel, the end of the world, and the relationship between fathers and sons.
What's your vision?
I'm trying to create a fun eye catching movie poster that will grab attention from people scrolling through online streaming services and film festival options.
I have two general concepts for a potential poster but am very open to anything anyone wants to try. I just want something eye catching and great. The story is a scifi comedy about a struggling LA comedian who breaks up with the love of his life in order to focus on his career. Things get complicated when he gets a visit from his 40 year old son from the future who wants to know why he and his mother were so easy to disregard. The two men must then heal the relationship between father, mother and son while also working together to save the future. The two concepts I have: Concept 1: Something like The Fly poster. In Paradox Lost the time travelers go back and forth through time in a thing called a Time Box. It’s basically a big metal square with a light inside. There’s some images from the film attached. I think it could be cool to have something like that image with the two of them with their backs to camera looking into the time box. Concept 2: Something like The Memento poster. In Paradox Lost – a photo is what connects the present with the future. The time traveler shows up with a crumbled photo he’s had his whole life and the main character develops some film and finds the new version of that same photo. That photo and photos in general play an important part in the film so something with photos could be interesting. Some other general thoughts: In the film time travelers are disguised as homeless people just waiting to start their missions. The main time traveler Copper travels in a disheveled yellow rain coat and acts like a boy even though he’s almost 40. All other time travelers – including Time Assassins – are disguised as disheveled homeless people. Some possible taglines to incorporate if you want: Barnaby was always worried about the future… until the day he found out there wasn’t going to be one. A genre bending love story about time travel, the end of the world, and long form improvisational comedy. A film by Dennis Curlett -- I've included some photos pulled from the film as well as posters as examples and just some posters I think are cool. Get creative - be great - blow my mind!
