Indie action-comedy feature length movie! Looking for a new movie poster to provide to some distributors (one of who we will sign with). Our movie - In Action - has a unique concept. It's a two-person action movie - so basically an action movie, without true action. The film is geared towards both fans of the 80s/90s action genre, as well comedy fans (the movie is a comedic take on the genre). There are a bunch of details in the other sections, but we're open to interpretations based on this plot synopsis below: Sean and Eric are just two bumbling screenwriters drafting the “next big action flick”, utterly oblivious to the insanity that awaits when the government intercepts their script, believing it to be a veritable terrorist plot. They’re kidnapped by the NSA and uncover a shocking conspiracy; rogue agents want to use the screenplay’s plot for an actual attack and frame the two. Trapped and tortured in an underground lair, Sean and Eric must fight to escape, while coming to terms with their checkered past, to save their families and the fate of the free world.  

We would like to see an illustrated poster in the vein of I'm Gonna Git You Sucka, Animal House, The Heat, Big Trouble In Little China, Army of Darkness (examples attached). Essentially an 80s-style poster. It should be fun, over the top, colorful, doesn't have to be realistic. Like our current version, we want something that highlights the movie as both Comedy and Action. Have fun, use your imagination. We really want to convey a fun, over-the-top action comedy

Though the movie is a "two-person action film" with Eric Silvera and Sean Kenealy, the writers & directors, also co-starring in the film, there are multiple characters. We used other actors, almost as props, to "play" these roles and interact with us during the film, though you never see their faces (and Sean & Eric do the all the characters' voices). Sean & Eric are either in their black underwear or purple medical scrubs throughout much of the movie. We'll leave it to your discretion on which image you'd want to use for the large "hero" image. The "villains" in the movie are: -- Cowboy - Tall, Skinny, Creepy Dude with a Big Cowboy Hat and a silver smith and wesson pistol with a long barrel (gun can be seen in attached photo) -- Villain Lady - Long Brunette Hair, Wears a Black Leather Jacket with spikes on the shoulder, and slings a switch blade -- Black Eyes - Extremely Muscular, Bald, All Black Outfit (tight short-sleeve shirt, skinny jeans, combat boots). His character has all Black Eyes (think Wes Borland - Limp Bizkit...hahaha). He carries a large bowie knife -- Henchmen - generic dudes It would be great to have the main stars (Eric & Sean) be the top image, and then smaller images of action sequences underneath (ideas below): -- Images of the "bad guys" -- car chase with Sean driving and Eric firing a machine gun out the window, -- Eric dangling by one hand from from a broken ladder -- Sean about to be sliced by the Villain Lady These are just ideas to jump off with. Have fun, use your imagination. We really want to convey a fun, over-the-top action comedy From photo - Eric has no beard. Sean has the beard. Original poster is attached.
