Podcast Feature Artwork - Special Project Assets for New Years Meditation Challenge/Series

Ten Percent Happier teaches people how to meditate from the world's top mindfulness experts via its app, books, and podcast. Our target audience is people seeking tools to train their minds to live a healthier more fulfilling life and tend to be in the age range of 30-55.

We’re looking for artwork for our New Year’s Meditation Challenge & Podcast series. The artwork will be featured in our app and Apple Podcast, along with other podcast platforms. Requirements: - The podcast specific creative should follow the Apple Podcast guidelines attached. NOTE: This project is NOT for the design of a podcast icon/tile. This is feature artwork to be displayed in the browse section of the Apple Podcast App. - The creative will need to be delivered in multiple sizes (4320x1080, 1280x720, 1200x415, 600x600) to accommodate all of the places (podcast, app, marketing) where it will be featured - Every element of the creative should be isolated in separate layers so we have the option to later turn it into an animation - The creative color palette should be in line with Ten Percent Happier brand guidelines in pdf attached. - The words, "Ten Percent Happier with Dan Harris" along with the red dot logo must be featured in at least one version and an alternate version with Ten Percent Happier only with the red dot logo would be great - The deadline is 11/19 for the final edit - Files should also be delivered as a PSD document within the Apple Podcast Art Guidelines for the podcast feature artwork version. - The other sizes should also be delivered as a PSD file. Goals - Looking for designs that maintain the brand style but also include some topical elements related to mindfulness and the new year without being cheesy - Conveys the sentiment of the series as outlined in the series description below. - We welcome your creativity Context - Series is titled, “New Year’s Challenge” - Will the added resources files please find the logo fonts, brand assets, the Apple Podcast feature artwork guide and a prior design with assets included. Here is the description of the series to give you some more context: = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = The whole "New Year, New You" thing is not only unrealistic, but also quite brutal. I know it’s just a silly slogan, but the implication is that you need to fully reinvent yourself, which ain’t gonna happen— and also shouldn’t have to happen. The “new you” catchphrase encourages the kind of self-loathing that is all too common these days. So this New Years, we’re going for the opposite of self-loathing. Yeah, we know, self-love can be extremely cheesy— or, if improperly understood, can lead to self-obsession or passivity. We’re going to avoid those pitfalls. Our attitude was nicely summed up by a Zen teacher who told his students, “You’re perfect as you are— but you could also use a little improvement.” We are all for creating healthy habits, but science suggests that shame is not the best way to do it. In this series of podcast episodes and the accompanying meditation challenge, we’ll help you find cleaner-burning fuel. Over the course of 21 days our teachers will guide you through a series of meditations demonstrating the benefits of developing self-love, compassion and acceptance, and showing you how to do it. To those of us accustomed to beating ourselves up over last year’s failed resolutions, this approach may seem counter-intuitive, but unlike shame and self-recrimination, these practices provide a renewable resource for taking action and developing the resilience that is so critical when it comes to making sustained, healthy change.
