We are a non-profit that produces music and documentary films.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We need digital CD cover art (only the cover) for a new album we are releasing. Artist name, Jon Shirley, with the Gathering Network. Album name: The Desert Blooms.
Use Serif or cursive fonts.
If there is an image used, it needs to supply a metaphor of the desert blooming (do not use an obvious image, like a plant growing in a cracked desert landscape.)
Using no image is fine.
If there is an image, use black and white. Reference the new Civil Wars album (the band).
No bold colors.
Simple elegance is key. (not to be cliche':)
This album was recorded in a large scale venue, and also in an intimate living room setting. The songs go back and forth between the two venues.
Other notes
I have really been enjoying serif fonts, and black and white cover art. Think of the new Civil Wars album. Using elegant images. Our audience would be Kings of Leon Fans, mostly 18-30 yrs. old.
