ACErail got their new other graphic design by running a design contest:
Design a Train Locomotive Wrap
Check out ACErail's Other Graphic Design contest…
This contest is soliciting the creative artwork of a locomotive wrap aimed at announcing the ACE train's 10-Year Anniversary. In honor of our ten years in service, ACE will be wrapping at least one entire locomotive - the wrap will remain on the train for a full year.

What's your vision?
We are seeking a unique, bold, and attractive wrap design that will cover the front and sides of one of our train locomotives used in commuter train service between Stockton, CA and San Jose, CA. The wrap will commemorate 10 years of commuter train service through the San Joaquin Valley, over the Altamont Pass, across Alameda County, and reaching Santa Clara County! (A previous contest produced a 10th Anniversary logo which will be applied on a small scale somewhere on the locomotive wrap at a later time. Entries will not be required to have incorporated the Anniversary logo in wrap design entry.) A drawing of the locomotive is viewable on the following website address: http://www.acerail.com/ACE%20Locomotive.htm The designer with the winning design will claim a $500.00 prize. The winner will need to submit an IRS Form W-9 (USA Residents) or W-8ECI (non-USA Residents), and a copy of his or her driver’s license for payment.
- The winning entry will need to conducive to be resized to approximately 70 feet x l5 feet (think Billboard scale).
- The wrap will not cover the roof of the locomotive or the back end.
