The school of mindfulness provides a one of a kind education in 'the art of conscious living'. We teach using a combination of the tools of modern neuroscience & psychology and ancient tools of mindfulness, meditation and yogic practices.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I would like 2 'mindful reminder' cards made up. They will be 11cm square. Each will be unique in both the text and the art. Their purpose is to be put around peoples houses, workspaces or in cars etc to remind them to be present in the moment rather than lost in mind chatter...to induce a moment of meditation.
The cards shown in this link below are positive affirmation cards but it gives you an idea of what they can look and feel like and what i'm after...

I would like the text to be to prominent feature of each card (as oppose to the artwork.)Its very important for text to be clear and legible but its also nice to have 'flowy' looking texts, like in the example picture i have attached.
I would like them have a nature theme. Trees, leaves, vines, gardens, clouds and sunlight (not animals).(again see picture attached) I do not want photographic images but rather a look and feel of drawings or painting, preferably with a colour, not white background. softer natural colours rather than super bright ones.
These are the text for the 2 cards (there will be a bit of writing put onto the backs of each as well. just in normal text)

The text should not be overlayed onto an image. where text is should have a plain background. any images can surround it. images can just be quite simple. i like how the attached card image just has a few vines going around the edge. that kind of think is great.
At the bottom of each card i would like a strip of a different colour put on and our website address put in that strip http://www.schoolofmindfulness.com. If you look at the attached picture you'll see it has a strip of colour at the bottom with the words 'a 64 card deck' written. Something like that will work well.
