Our readers are mostly male, between 30 and 60, well educated and love eye-catchers. covers need to make a good first impression against all the others, even and especially as a thumbnail on amazon! They need to stand out. We only accept highly professional works.

Looking for a cover for a science fiction novel in 2560 x 1600 pixels for the Ebook and a print version (.pdf) later. Blurb: In the future, the United Nations and a Syndacate of powerful corporations are fighting for the exploitation of ressources in the solar system, when they receive a strange neutrino signal from Epsilon Eridani. Is it just a cosmic coincidence, or a long awaited signals from another sentient species? They send two space ships, the Erebus (syndicate) and the Terror (UN), to investigate the source of the signal in the neighbouring Solar System. After 250 years in hibernation, both crews wake up in the middle of the interstellar nothing, still far from their destination, because they received a strange message from earth: "never, under no circumstances return to earth." After that, SOL stays silent and both crews find themselves alone and cut off from their homes, struggling to decide what to do, until they start fighting each other. Also it might be helpful to check the Science Fiction Charts at Amazon.de to get an impression of German SF-Covers which are very different from the ones used for the US market. We would like a cover that shows the vast loneliness of the interstellar space and the two space ships (maybe just as two silhouettes/lights/vaguely shaped lines between the stars? Or you can come up with a completely different idea on how to interprete that. We will be thrilled to see your proposals. Cover should not be too colorful. The novel profits from the loneliness of the two left-alone space ships, carrying crews of 200 each that are unsure what happened to their homes but who cannot turn around (because of physics :-)). Feel free to come up with your own interpretations, we are always open to very different and better ideas! Contest is blind so that you can be free in the development of your ideas.
