Cover/Illustrations for children's book

We make media. In this case we are making a childrens book.

We need the cover and illustration done for 12 double page spreads of a childrens book.

**You are not expected to complete the whole story in the first week of this contest, but I do want to see a completed cover and at least 1 illustrated page.**

The book will be 8x10, so the double page spreads will be 16 x 10. You will want to keep those proportions in mind as you work.

We plan to publish this childrens book as a hardcover and as an ebook, and you will receive credit on the cover as the book's illustrator. The book should have an ISBN and be available on amazon.

Feel free to read through the manuscript. The story is a Robert Munsch inspired bed time tale about a baby born with super powers who struggles to understand why people treat her different. It's a lighthearted rhyming story of the unconditional love and acceptance that a mommy has for her baby.

For each double page spread, one of the pages will be the illustration for the main focus of the page of text. The other page does not need to be illustrated, but should be stylized for the story text.

Feel free to get creative with the illustrations. You can read each page and pick out the most interesting visual. We value your expertise and creativity on these illustrations!
