Games & Recreational
Plated Glory is a mobile game where you shoot down other tanks using an assortment of weapons of your choice. You can also choose the tank you ride in, each with different stats such as health, speed, damage, etc. The game has 3 modes, including Free For All, Teams, and Bot Practice. Free For All and Teams are both multiplayer modes, while Bot Practice is singleplayer. It is also possible for more multiplayer game modes to be added in the future.
The style should be based on the game, which is a more realistic military style, and the style should have big enough buttons, icons, and text so that it is clearly visible on a mobile device. It should be horizontal view (16:9 aspect ratio).
1. The home page should make clearly visible the button to play the main game mode, and have additional buttons that are easily visible to play the other 2 game modes ("Teams" and "Bot Practice"). 2. What should be clearly visible is a button to open the customization menu, where you can customize your tank and change the style and color of the tank. The home page should show your currently customized tank as an image which the game generates (The image will be provided here). 3. The home page can also have a place for the logo of the game, which does NOT need to be created by the designer as we will have a new logo created for us by somebody else (You can use a place holder logo). 4. The home page should also show how much "Gold" and "Silver" the player owns, and each of those should be buttons so the player can tap on them to open the shop page. This should be at the top of the page, so the player can see and access these from whichever page they are at. 5. Finally, the home page should include a "Sign in with Google" button, to allow the player to sign in, and also a text field where the player can type in a nickname. There needs to be a version of the main page that shows when a player has already signed into their Google account (it should show their account username and match wins and losses, or a button to show their stats in another screen).
What to avoid
The UI for the main menu does not have to match the UI (HUD) in the in-game screenshot. Please remember to put the gold and silver at the top of the page (preferably on the top right, it is a standard in mobile games) The image for the tank should not be too big on the screen (do not make it take up more than 1/2 of the screen size) because the resolution for the tanks is only 1024 width, so it will look pixelated on a high-res mobile device.
