Shaan was great to work with. Excellent design skills, very responsive, and quick to incorporate any and all feedback we provided. We would highly recommend him to others, and look forward to working with him for any of our future design needs.

How move V started their app design journey
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Medical & Pharmaceutical
Our app needs to be an iPad based app that allows a patient to easily and intuitively interact with their family tree to complete an exhaustive family medical history. This should be done in a way that is smart and easy to use.
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the app?
See attached apps that already exist that this will live inside of.
Family Medical History App
At its basic, it is a way to quickly collect all of a person's relatives and each of those relatives cancer history. While it is tempting to use just a straight "family tree", we believe that would be cumbersome to enter so much data about each person and have to spacially-relate everyone on a screen the size of an iPad.
Since it's designed for the iPad, I think some zooming with pinch to zoom could be part of it, but only when really needed. I think with 3 screens you could have separate screens for "maternal" and "paternal" sides that help limit information overload from looking at the whole screen.
One of the sketches illustrates that idea for the "maternal" side. However, we aren't sure that it is going to be the easiest to use on an iPad and that is the reason we aren't just going with that design and instead want a designer to think about the UX.
What to avoid
The attached screenshot titled "MagView - ASI" is the curren windows forms based method. From an aesthetics and design perspective, we don't love it much at all. But it is included here as an example of our actual app. You can see that the individuals on the tree can change colors depending on their particular medical history.
