How rboydf started their logo & hosted website journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We develop and sell coatings to protect medical devices, and transplanted organs and tissues, from the “foreign body response” that occurs when they are implanted in patients and come into contact with blood. The coatings prevent the complications and additional treatment costs caused by the patient’s immune system attacking what it identifies as a foreign object. Our coatings are derived from the "invisibility cloak" that bacteria, and our own cells, use to evade our immune system. Our customers are medical device manufacturers and clinicians, based mainly in the US and Europe.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Medical & Pharmaceutical
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Our coating technology specifically protects against the BLOOD borne immune system. We have therefore imagined that the logo / branding would somehow incorporate the blood red colour.
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the logo and hosted website?
We have reviewed some existing sites (see below), but don't have particular ideas. However, please note that we are a B2B company in an industry which is quite "sober" and conservative! We want the logo and website to convey the sense of a business that is driven by (i) cutting-edge research and innovation, (ii) improving human health, (iii) high quality standards.
Jimdo templates to explore
We are a brand new business (in fact we haven't yet formally launched). We don't know what we want on each page, but the website is likely to be simple at the outset (eg Home page; Technology; Team; Contact Us), with the ability add to it as we go along.
