No Longer Orphans, but Sons and Daughters
Community & Non-Profit
Our mission is to glorify and honor God by caring for orphans and the neediest of His children in Africa (with a focus on rural Uganda) by providing family-based care, education and a local church family. To accomplish this mission, we hope to build a network of orphan homes (small petite homes for a maximum of 8 children), schools (primary, secondary and trade) and churches. At the same time, we seek to improve the health of the children by providing fresh well water and establish sustainable agricultural and skills-based programs to subsidize the cost of orphan care and education. In everything we do, King's Kids Africa will work through the local church. We seek to have the church be seen by the local community as the care providers. Our target audience is our donors, and foundations and individuals who may choose to partner with us as we serve the orphans of Africa.
We are looking for a logo that reflects credibility and trust to secure donor interest but also communicates our compassion, passion for children, and approachability. We are interested in simple image to be a part of our logo that evokes the name of our non-profit: king- kids- africa.
The site needs to be clean and simple, interactive, with strong imagery. The mission of our ministry and our story need to be clearly communicated. As a non-profit Christian organization (dependent on fundraising), the site needs to be donor friendly. We would like scrolling images and other compelling, yet hopeful images throughout the site.
