RP is also an attitude or a way of being. An example of a person with RP, in public life, is Barak Obama. He is warm, powerful, real, human and charismatic.
The main role of the RP brand will be to let members of the public know that this unique and powerful training methodology exists, and that it can give them the skills they are looking for, so that they will choose to seek out one of our coaches.
Where we sit in the marketplace
Our main Competitors in the public speaking and leadership arena are “Toastmasters International”. They are an established global brand, but their methods (and branding) are rather old fashioned. Ours are much more modern and cutting edge, and at the same time very warm and human.
Qualities of the RP Brand.
RP is modern, cutting edge, connected, human, warm and optimistic.
It values authenticity over slickness. It is professional but not “corporate”.
It is warm-hearted, spiritual and kind, yet it prefers being real and truthful to being “nice”.
It encompasses a strong belief in human potential.
We want you to design a logo for (a) us to put on our website to represent our brand (b) our facilitators and coaches who have trained with us to put on their websites (so that people know that they are on our “team”, subscribe to our values and use our unique methods).
The logo should work well in digital and print form and at various sizes. We would like it to include colour, but it should also work effectively if rendered in black and white or greyscale.
p.s. RP is about real human to human connection and communication in a very wide range of contexts. Please no logos depicting microphones!
